The building has been in our family for generations, so much so, that it’s one of the oldest buildings on the Gzira front. Back in the 1940s, it was originally a bar and very popular with all of the sailors in the area. We wanted to pay homage to the building’s history and have thus created ‘The Crew’. We wanted to give everyone a new space where they can step off the busy streets, into a world where old meets new. The space is decked out with timeless decorations giving it a nautical theme with a sleek, modern twist.
The name was inspired by the fact that this is a family run business, and we knew it would be all hands-on deck as soon as it opened. The term ‘Crew’ fit perfectly, as we all want to continue steering this ship in the right direction.
Sadly, all the local bars we grew to know and love in the 90’s are gone. It’s for this reason that we’ve decided to take a long trip down memory lane and offer you a spot brimming with nostalgia of the good old days tied in perfectly with all of today’s top trends. We’ve created a menu with enough variety to float
everyone’s boat, offering several platters and an even wider selection of drinks at affordable prices. Make The Crew your go to spot for those cheeky post work cocktails, party celebrations and overall weekend fun with your own crew and you won’t regret it!
